The instructor was awesome- explained everything really clearly, made me feel very comfortable, and I made a ton of progress right away. I got a really good price on lessons at http://www.reservehawaii.com/details.asp?t=A&id=269 although looking back on it, it was so much fun I would have paid much more. If you want to really experience Hawaii, other than a luau I can't think of a better way than surfing.
