In the 1984 Victoria to Maui Sailboat race, the ‘Scotch Mist’ was first introduced to people. ‘Scotch Mist’ completed the race with a first place and it was a memorable event. But after the event the owners of Scot Mist decided to retire her from races. They then started using it as a beautiful sailboat. They started offering snorkel cruises, whale watches and sailing charters. For sailing fans it is a must-experience activity because a sail on ‘Scotch Mist’ will always be cherished because of its beauty. And a person who comes to Maui for his vacation cannot afford to miss such an extravagant sail.
